We ordered online and pre-paid. To our surprise, one 3 piece meal we asked to upgrade to 2 breasts and the other 3 piece with 1 upgrade breast. That's an extra $9 and we received zero breasts and missing a drink. Very disappointed as this is not the 1st time this location has missed items we paid for.
I had a great experience at Popeyes! The food was hot, fresh, and full of flavor — exactly what you expect from their famous Louisiana-style chicken. The staff was friendly, quick, and made sure everything was right with my order. The restaurant was clean and well-organized, even during the busy hours.
(would give 0 stars if possible) Absolutely horrible experience at this Popeyes location. My boyfriend ordered a regular chicken sandwich, and it took 20 minutes just to get one sandwich. We didn’t think much of it until we got home and he took his first bite and almost broke a tooth. There was something hard, black, and deep-fried inside. We had no idea what it was, and honestly, it was scary. He went back to the restaurant to show them what he bit into, and the employee refused to even look at it. He had to call over the manager, who started making every excuse possible, saying it was “cartilage from the factory.” Even if that were true, it’s their responsibility to check what kind of meat they’re serving before handing it to customers. Anyone preparing food should know how to separate boneless pieces from ones with bone or cartilage before breading and frying. The manager then offered to replace the sandwich with a deluxe version, but he just wanted the regular one done properly. After waiting again, they switched the offer to fries and a drink instead. He asked for onion rings instead of fries, and she said it would take four minutes to prepare, then stood there saying nothing and never made them. Overall, this location has zero customer service, no accountability, and no care for food safety. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. Save yourself the frustration and go to literally any other Popeyes.
If I could give 0 stars I would, the chicken is soft and very salty they had me waiting for 25 minutes. They told me it’s gonna take 10 minutes which is already a very long wait for so called “fast food” but then they had me wait 15 minutes more for a couple of 3 piece combos. I’ve been to so many Popeyes locations and this one is the worst so far.
Had dinner here today. Even though it was packed the service was great and prompt. To top it off there was a perfect view of the Victoria day fireworks. I do order from here all the time but will definitely be here on July 1st.
